Celebrate July 4 this weekend

In honor of the Martin Luther King holiday, area
businesses are celebrating July 4th this weekend with special
festivities that include fireworks, baseball and apple
pie.

On Saturday, there will snow baseball at 3 p.m. at the
Town of Webb school athletic field, open to all ages and
free of charge, and a hot dog eating contest and apple pie
special at 4 p.m. at Walt’s Diner.

There will be fireworks at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday at the
lakefront, with fire rings for toasting s’mores.
Stores will offer red, white, and blue specials all weekend
long.

This family weekend in Old Forge is sponsored in part
