The Town of Webb is fortunate to have a very active historical association. The Goodsell Museum in Old Forge provides walking tours, victorian tea parties (why, even today - just such an event is occurring on the porch of the historic Covewood Lodge overlooking Big Moose Lake. We are especially fond of the Bald Mountain Christmas ornaments for sale at their museum. They can also be ordered online in time for the holiday season. Nearby Bald Mountain can be hiked anytime - and affords incredible fall foliage views. It is an easy climb, suitable for families as well as experienced climbers.
